This December, debris from an ancient asteroid will collide with our atmosphere creating the annual spectacle called the Geminids meteor shower. Astronomers anticipate that meteorites may rain down in the night sky at a rate of up to 60 per hour during the evening of December 13th. We will watch for a while and then head inside to warm up with hot chocolate and muffins. Registration is required. Register by mail: program registration form.
