Cruise through Nauset Marsh in a pontoon boat in search of shorebirds and other wildlife. Learn about salt marsh ecology and the cultural history of the area. We hope to spot ospreys, great blue herons, terns, willets, oystercatchers, and plovers.
The pontoon boat, the Queen of Orleans, gives us a gentle seated ride, and is partially shaded. Extended three-hour birding trips on the Queen of Orleans are also offered; search the program catalog for Shorebirding on Coast Guard and Nauset Beaches.
Instructions and Directions: Wear water shoes. Binoculars helpful. No bathrooms available.
