Fri, Nov 06, 2009 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Instructor: Drumlin Farm Staff
Audience: Family (suitable for children ages 0 - 9 yrs)
Fee: Adults $10.00m/ $12.00nm, Children $10.00m/ $12.00nm

Soaring, diving, following the thermals, hawks and warblers have moved on to warmer places. Hear the story of the wind eagle and visit with one of our resident migrators. Make a soaring craft to take home and something to hang out for the birds still coming through.

All ages welcome, up to three children per adult. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. “Backpack babies” (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, but strollers are not appropriate for the terrain we will cover. Please mention these participants when registering. For children between 12 and 23 months of age, the fee is half the regular fee. Mass Audubon family memberships must be current to receive member rates; please consider joining when you register.
