Owl Prowl and Sunrise Birding
Sponsored by Habitat

Sat, Nov 14, 2009 5:00 am - 8:00 am

Instructor: Bob Stymeist - Expert Birder
Audience: Adult
Fee: Adults $16.00m/ $20.00nm

Take advantage of the late sunrise and get up "late" at 5 am when it's quiet and much easier to listen for night sounds. This is a great time for calling great horned and eastern screech-owls. In years past many owls have been spotted…and that was before sunrise. With first light we will continue birding and hope for some unusual stray or lingering "fall" migrants in the Victory Gardens of Rock Meadow.

Instructions and Directions: We know its early but please be prompt! Rain date, Sunday Novemebr 15, same time.

Registration is required.

Register by mail: program registration form. (PDF 66K)
