Mass Audubon's Breeding Bird Atlas 2

Preliminary Results

BBA2 will not be completed until 2011, but we can already see some differences in species populations and locations from BBA1. And the results aren't all bad. While some birds are being reported in much lower numbers in BBA2, other birds are actually more prevalent. And some have changed their breeding location within Massachusetts.

We will continue to update this list of results as we accumulate and analyze more data. You can also read about the current state of BBA2 data on the BBA blog, Distraction Displays.
