Year in Review 2011

This was year of tremendous accomplishment for Mass Audubon. Fueled by our members' support and propelled by the increasing urgency of our mission, we have worked across the state and beyond to:

  • protect and manage land
  • bring sound science to bear on the pressing issues of the day
  • educate and inspire people of all ages to care about and protect nature
  • help government enact sound policy to protect our common resources.

For a sampling of what 2011 meant for Mass Audubon, we'd love for you to read our Annual Report and check out our Year in Review slideshow.

JANUARYSome 40 inches of snow fell during the first month of the year, setting records across the State. It also set a record for the most snow closures for Mass Audubon. On the brighter side, it did make for some incredible snowshoeing and animal tracking.
