Catherine Hamilton, Artist /Naturalist/Blogger in Residence

Canton, MA - Artist and naturalist Catherine Hamilton will be the Artist in Residence at Mass Audubon's Visual Arts Center in October. Using the Canton sanctuary as her base, she will explore several Mass Audubon sites, posting her drawings and writings in her blog entitled birdspot: the sketchbook of Catherine Hamilton. Visit often to see her unique experience unfold.

Hamilton will lead a two part Drawing Birds Workshop at the Visual Arts Center on Sunday October 7th and 14th. She is also the featured speaker for the Visual Arts Center's monthly Art Talk program on Thursday October 18th from 10 - 11 a.m. At the completion of her residency, she will show and discuss her work at a talk and reception on Friday October 19th from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Visual Arts Center's estate house.
