34th Annual Fall Fair at Stony Brook - September 22

Crafters at Stony Brook's Fall Fair

Saturday, September 22
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
(rain date September 23)

Make your plans now to join us for a fun-filled day for the whole family. We will have a field full of crafters offering family friendly crafts, arts, jewelry, hand-made items and much, much more. This is a great time and place to start your holiday shopping.

Of course, as a Mass Audubon function, we'll have educational entertainment for the whole family, as well. We are happy to announce that Marcia Wilson’s Eyes on Owls will be joining us for their 9th year. Young and old alike will thrill to the sight of the magnificent owls the Wilsons have on hand. It’s a great opportunity to learn about the habits and natural history of these fascinating animals.

We are also very excited to welcome Flooky and the Beans who will dazzle everyone with their upbeat and unique musical entertainment. They will put on two shows for us, so come early and stay for the fun. This year we have added some new games and crafts, as well as some of our most popular activities (think Pumpkin Painting and Cake Walk) from previous years. As in the past, too, the Norfolk Lions will be on hand cooking and tending to all of your hunger pangs with plenty of food and drinks to go around. We will have face painting, lots of cool animals to check out and guided walks for those interested in venturing out on the trails.

The Fall Fair is our most important fund-raiser, but it's much more than that. It's a tradition that allows us to rekindle some old friendships and to make some new ones along the way. It's a celebration of the splendor of the Fall and an acknowledgement of the changing of the seasons. We hope you can join us for this very special day.

The cost of admission is $4 per adult, $3 per child, with a maximum of $12 for a family. All money raised goes to supporting the Sanctuary and its educational programs.
