Road's End Wildlife Sanctuary
Fields, forest, and wetlands make
up the landscape that you’ll see at
Road’s End. The sanctuary runs
along the height of a long ridge
and offers occasional views of the
surrounding Berkshire hills. The
extensive forest attracts many
woodland bird species. Bluebirds
and tree swallows have been seen
in the meadow. You can often find
beavers in the wetlands and the
pond; other resident mammals
include bear, otters, and coyotes.
The sanctuary features a short
trail loop.
