School and Group Programs
Moose Hill is a unique sanctuary of nearly 2000 acres nestled close to Routes 95, 27 and 1. We offer educational opportunities at your site or ours in any season. Our trained teacher-naturalists love to share their sense of wonder in and knowledge of the natural world with children of all ages.
Schools—Grades Pre-K to 8
Field trip programs are designed to meet framework goals while providing students with an enriching outdoor learning experience. You may spend a full school day at Moose Hill by selecting two programs. Due to our large system of trails and boardwalks we can serve 120 participants for some programs. For program descriptions, download the School and Group brochure*.
Classroom Presentations and Outdoor Explorations are described in the Moose on the Loose brochure*.
Maple Sugaring—February and March
Weekday tours for schools and scouts. Maple Sugar Festival weekends for scouts and the public. Preregistration is required. Download our Maple Sugaring brochure* for more information.
Scouts
Let our enthusiastic naturalists lead your group on a trail adventure. Choose from an array of outdoor exploration programs or let us assist your scouts in earning badges. Programs are offered on weekends and on weekday afternoons. For program descriptions, download the Scout Brochure*. For a detailed list of which badge requirements we can help you address, see our Badge List.
Overnights for Groups
Spend the night in our nature center! An experienced naturalist will lead your group on a night hike. For more information, download the Overnights flyer*.
Homeschool Programs—Ages 7 - 14
Moose Hill offers life and earth science programs as well as art and craft classes for homeschooled students. For more information, please download our current Homeschool Brochure.*
Moms Club & Play Groups
Discover the wonders of Moose Hill during a special program just for your Moms Club or play group. Each program is 60 minutes and includes stories, games, usually a craft, and indoor circle time. Each month offers a new seasonal topic to explore. Outdoor exploration may be included depending on the weather and theme. Activities are geared for children ages 3 and 4, but all ages are welcomed to attend. Download our Mom's Club & Play Group Brochure.*
