Facility Rentals

Nature Center at Moose Hill

Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary has almost 2,000 acres of protected land with extensive hiking trails through a diversity of habitats. We have several rental options that offer a wonderful environment for your meeting or function:

• Sunroom/Front Room is a private space for groups up to 40.
• • The Gallery exhibits nature related artwork and may be rented as part of a Main Floor Rental, seating up to 36.

Types of Functions: Parties, meetings, bridal showers.

Maximum Capacity: Sunroom – max 20 people.
Front Room – max 20 people.
Gallery – max 36.
Capacity numbers are based on people sitting at tables.

Availability: All year

Rates: There is a three hour minimum for any rental. The regular hours rate is charged for rental time during our regular business hours. Any rental time outside these hours is charged the after hours rate. There are no fee reductions for partial hours.

Front Room and Sunroom – regular hours $75 per hour; after hours $140 per hour

Main Floor rental (includes Front Room, Sunroom, and Gallery) – regular hours: $225 per hour; after hours $275 per hour.

Food Storage/Prep: Full kitchen, 30-cup coffee urn

Parking: Onsite parking available

A/V Equipment: Screen, dry erase boards, wireless internet connection

Additional Amenities: Trail fees will be waived for the rental party during daylight hours should the guests wish to explore the trails on their own. Room set-up with tables and chairs is provided by Moose Hill staff. We have up to 50 folding chairs and up to 8 6-foot tables. Picnic tables are available on a first come-first served basis.

Please note: No smoking inside or outside the building. Alcoholic beverages (beer and wine) are permitted with prior approval and completed paperwork and a certificate of insurance/liability provided by the renter no less than two weeks prior to the rental date. All activity is restricted to the scheduled room(s). Your set-up and clean-up time is part of your scheduled rental time. Please remember to include your caterer’s set-up and clean-up time if applicable as part of your overall rental. If additional equipment/furnishings are dropped off prior to the rental time or left after the rental time, an additional charge will be incurred.
