Pig Barn

The new pig barn.

Wonderful naming opportunities are available for the Pig Barn and elsewhere at Drumlin Farm. Your major contribution to this project allows you to honor someone special by putting their name on this attractive new building at the heart of Drumlin Farm.
  • Name the Pig Barn with a gift of $75,000.
  • Name Plaque: When you make a gift of $1,000 or more to the Pig Barn, your name will be added to a permanent plaque to be displayed in the building.

While major gifts are critical, every gift counts, no matter how small, and is greatly appreciated.

You can make a difference.
Wont you please join us today by making a contribution to the Campaign for Drumlin Farm?

The construction of our beautiful new pig barn was completed in 2007!

Stop by the farmyard and take a look!

The pigs and piglets at Drumlin Farm are a major attraction for our visitors, especially for the thousands of youngsters who come to the farm yearly. Our new barn better serves the animals, provides enhanced space for visitors to enjoy the pigs, and houses a much-needed classroom for visitor education programs and camp groups.

The new Pig Barn is roomy with three separate indoor pens, and is built on a concrete foundation to allow better drainage and sanitation. Visitors enjoy the greatly improved visibility into the pens - even young children are able to see well. The new barn will also include interpretive signage to teach about the pigs and their home.

If you'd like to hear how to put your name on a plaque in the Pig Barn or elsewhere on the farmyard, please contact Henrietta Yelle, Campaign Manager for Drumlin Farm, at 781-259-2239 or hyelle@massaudubon.org.
