Drumlin Farm Free Family Fun Day

June 24
9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Join Drumlin Farm as we celebrate summer and share our exciting new changes with the community. In addition to our wonderful animals and exhibits, we’ll have free hayrides, lunch and snacks for purchase from Whole Foods Market, special programming, prize drawings, and much more. There’s so much to discover—bring your family and friends and enjoy all that Drumlin Farm has to offer. Admission is free for all on this day!

Farm highlights:

  • Poultry House: This is not your average chicken coop! Drumlin Farm’s poultry house provides visitors with an enhanced experience and new educational exhibits. In addition to a variety of egg-laying chickens, the new house allows us to highlight fancy, heritage, and rare breeds of chickens, including Top Hats and Silver-laced Wyandottes.

  • Bird Hill: The new ‘hill,’ where native hawks, owls, crows and more make their homes, is something to crow about! We've remodeled the birds’ enclosures, installed colorful new species identification panels, and redesigned the trail to make it even more fun and educational.

  • Pig Barn: Our pigs will be in hog heaven in their new home, which will feature improved living quarters, where you’ll be able to see the animals both indoors and out. The new Pig Barn will also have classroom space for our programs and summer camp.

  • Forest Discovery Trail: The new Forest Discovery Trail lets you experience the forest as one of the animals. Crawl into a life-sized nest, spot dinner like a hawk, or build a tiny mouse house. Explore our red pine forest and see a different side of Drumlin Farm.

  • Drumlin Underground: We’re sprucing up “DUG” with new signs, improved critter cages, and a new teaching platform so you can see the animals up close and personal. And don’t forget our new neighbors—the two red foxes now share a space and get along famously!
