Green Technology at Drumlin Farm
Drumlin Farm and Mass Audubon are committed to energy efficiency, green practices, and sustainable living. Our efforts at Drumlin Farm range from the use of compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs), water-efficient appliances, and double sided printing to the renovation and construction of buildings to take advantage of cutting edge energy efficient technology. Through these projects, we strive to serve as a model of sustainable living, and to implement and demonstrate the possibilities of emerging green technologies. Visitors to Drumlin Farm should ask for a Clean and Green map at the Nature Center, and keep your eyes open for the Clean and Green signs throughout the farm and sanctuary.
