Great Room at Drumlin Farm

Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary offers a unique, pastoral setting for Mass Audubon members’ parties, social events or meetings. Our Nature Center Great Room and lawn are available for gatherings large and small.

Types of Functions: Parties, social events or meetings. Information* on weekend and daytime birthday parties.

Maximum Capacity: 89 people for a standing event, 64 for seated event; if using the outdoor space, 125 people for standing event.

Availability: All year; available only when sanctuary is closed to visitation, which includes Mondays, evenings after 5 pm in summer and after 4 pm in winter; events may last no later than 11 pm. All rentals are limited to the Nature Center Great Room and the lawn directly behind the Great Room. The farmyard is not included in rentals.

Rates: For parties and social events: $650 for 4 hours, $150 for each additional hour. For meetings: $350 for 4 hours, Monday and evenings, $75 for each additional hour; $400 for 4 hours, weekend days and holidays, $75 for each additional hour.

Food Storage/Prep: Food may be served but not prepared on site; ovens in the Nature Center kitchen may be used to keep food warm, and counters may be used as a staging area. Renter and/or caterers/bartenders are responsible for cleanliness of the kitchen area. Caterers/bartenders must comply with Mass Audubon insurance requirements.

Parking: Onsite parking available

Additional Amenities: The Nature Center has a fireplace stocked with wood for guests’ use. We have 8 round tables and 64 chairs for use indoors. Please ask about equipment available for use.

Please note: Must be Mass Audubon member. No smoking inside or outside the building. Serving of alcoholic beverages is permitted only under strict conditions and requires that a Certificate of Insurance and Waiver of all Liability be secured and provided by the renter. All activity is restricted to the scheduled room(s). Music restricted to instruments without amplification. Bands limited to no more than 4 instruments. Volume of all music must be kept at a reasonable level. Throwing rice, flower petals, birdseed is prohibited. Balloons are prohibited outdoors. Posting of any signs off the premises is prohibited. No dogs or other pets are allowed on the sanctuary.
