Habitat Restoration Volunteers
Location: Natick, MA
Help restore the moors to Broadmoor and get a little exercise outside!
Join us most Saturdays, to help clear brush and invasive plant species with hand tools to restore meadow habitat for many native species of birds, butterflies and other animals. For students, volunteer certificates are available for school credit.
Dates: November through April
Time: 9 a.m. to noon

Summer Property Volunteers
Location: Natick, MA
If you enjoy working outdoors, you can help Broadmoor by participating in a wide variety of property and maintenance projects, such as invasive species removal, brush removal and more. Assist with projects such as buildings and grounds work, light carpentry, and painting. Potential activities also include mowing with a lawn tractor, clearing trails with hand tools, and stacking and splitting wood with a wood splitter.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older if working with power hand tools or driving the lawn tractor. (Others under 18 are encouraged to apply but will not be working with power hand tools or driving the lawn tractor.) Some tasks may require heavy lifting. Ability to work without supervision required.
