Nature Center at Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary

Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary offers a unique natural setting for Corporate Retreats and Meetings. The Richard and Mary B. Saltonstall Nature Center includes a large sunny assembly room and adjacent Birders’ Lounge overlooking the Broadmoor bird feeders and Indian Brook marsh.

Types of Functions: Corporate retreats and meetings.

Maximum Capacity: Space is limited to 80 people for an assembly style event, 50 seated at tables.

Availability: Any time Tuesday through Friday that the rooms are not scheduled for Broadmoor programs or events. Limited availability during May, June, September, and October.

Rates: $400 per day (9 am – 5 pm weekdays). Space may be reserved with a $100 deposit. Events exceeding scheduled time will be charged $50 per additional hour or portion thereof.

Food Storage/Prep: Food may be served, but not prepared on site. A small refrigerator is available. Renter and/or caterers/bartenders are responsible for cleanliness of the kitchen area. A $100 deposit is required for all rentals involving food. The deposit will be returned following the rental after inspection by Broadmoor staff.

Parking: Onsite parking available.

A/V Equipment: Broadmoor can provide a large automatic screen, a computer/projector wheeled cart, and a long extension cord. All other A/V equipment is the responsibility of the renter.

Additional Amenities: Access to nine miles of sanctuary trails including the All Person’s accessible boardwalk over Indian Brook Marsh. Naturalist led nature walks are also available for breaks during meetings. Contact us for more information and rates. Cell phone service may vary depending on provider.

Please note: No smoking inside or outside the building. Serving alcoholic beverages in permitted only under strictly controlled conditions and requires that a Certificate of Insurance and Waiver of Liability be secured and provided by the renter. All activity is restricted to the scheduled room. Responsibility for setup and cleanup lies solely with the renter(s).
