Maple Sugar Festival - March 9 & 10

It's sugarin' time in the Blue Hills! Join us as we make maple syrup in the traditional way at beautiful DCR Brookwood Farm in Canton. Put on your boots and flannel shirt and join in the fun! Smell the wood smoke as you watch clouds of steam rise from the bubbling sap. Savor the taste of real maple syrup. Activities for all ages.
This event features a self-guided tour over flat, level terrain. Plan on spending at least an hour and a half.
Instructions and Directions: Parking for the event is located at the Houghton's Pond main parking lot on Hillside Street. Take exit 3 off I-93, north on Blue Hill River Road, and turn right at the T intersection with Hillside Street. The Houghton's Pond lot will be on your right in a quarter mile. Shuttle buses depart from this lot at approximately 10-minute intervals throughout the day.
Only handicap-accessible parking is available at Brookwood Farm. Turn left at the intersection with Hillside Street and the entrance to the farm will be on your left in approximately half a mile.
Registration not required.
