Citizen Environmental Educators
Location: Easthampton, MA
Meet most Thursdays and other day on occasion. Are you interested in teaching children about nature? Perhaps you are considering a career in teaching and would enjoy trying it out? Maybe you are interested in a meaningful way to contribute to Mass Audubon’s conservation mission? This program may be for you!
Citizen Environmental Educators receive natural history training, learn educational method, work with experienced educators, become part of a dedicated team. After training, Educators help lead school children on nature and science based walks. With your help... no child will be left inside!
Qualifications: Successful interview, background check and training are required.

Thursday & Saturday Property Crew
Location: Easthampton, MA
Connecticut River Valley Sanctuaries need Property Crew Volunteers to maintain native landscaping, post boundaries, maintain trails, repair buildings and equipment, ensure safety and comfort of visitors and program participants, build bird houses, prepare the sanctuaries for special events and more. This team meets every Thursday morning from 9 a.m. to noon at the Arcadia Visitor Center and some Saturdays also from 9 a.m. to noon. Some activities are indoors in our workshop and occur even on rainy days.
