Facility Rentals

Historic farm buildings set within 1200 acres of protected fields, forests, and wetlands provide a spectacular setting for private group functions. A small, renovated barn offers comfortable and rustic indoor space with an attached deck. Renters choosing outdoor space may select among several scenic options bordering vast meadows or the sanctuary’s Wildlife Pond. Twelve miles of marked trails for hiking or snowshoeing offer additional opportunities and guided walks can be arranged. Our central Massachusetts location is convenient from anywhere in the region, providing area groups a unique alternative for gatherings.

Types of Functions: meetings, retreats, workshops, weddings, family events

Maximum Capacity: 30 people (indoor), 100 people (outdoor)

Availability: year-round

Rates: Indoor rate is $25 per hour (9am to 5pm); a non-refundable deposit of 50 percent of the total fee is required two weeks prior to the rental date. Payment of balance due must be received at the time of the event. Standard rate for outdoor functions is $300/hour. Download our Outdoor Private Function Rental Agreement for details.

Food Storage/Prep: Food may be served, but not prepared on site. Catered food service/alcohol is allowable by licensed and insured providers only and must be approved in advance. Indoor rental space has counters and sink, but no appliances.

Parking: On-site parking is available. Capacity varies seasonally (carpooling is encouraged).

A/V Equipment: projection wall with retractable screen (indoor)

Additional Amenities: Indoor rental includes trail system and public restroom access, folding tables and chairs. Outdoor rental includes trail system and public restroom access, (4) folding tables, (50) metal folding chairs, limited power.
