Programs for Schools and Children/Young Adult Groups
Mass Audubon at Moose Hill offers a multitude of fun and educational nature-based programs year round for groups of youth from ages 3 and up. We offer programs at our site or at yours, both inside and outside! Moose Hill is a unique wildlife sanctuary of nearly 2,000 acres nestled close to Routes 95, 27, and 1 in Sharon. An extensive trail system allows us to take your group through the shaded forest, across boardwalks, up hills, or into sunlit meadows. Our trained teacher naturalists love to share their sense of wonder in and knowledge of the natural world with students of all ages.
A sampling of our program topics:
- Maple Sugaring
- Rocks and Landforms
- Native American Life

Moose Hill offers educational opportunities at your site or ours in any season for Grades Pre-K to 8. Programs are aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Education frameworks with strands in Life Science, Earth Science, History, and/or Geography. Due to our large trail system and team of trained teacher naturalists, we can serve 140 participants for full day programs.

** Mass Audubon is always looking for new ways to connect people and nature, and our new School Program Catalog is just one example of how we hope to accomplish that goal. Moose Hill is one of the first Mass Audubon sites to be included in this School Program Catalog and we hope to have all of our wildlife sanctuaries in the catalog soon.
