Crops Field Volunteers
Location: Lincoln, MA
Learn sustainable agriculture techniques as you assist our staff with seedlings in the green house, field seeding, transplanting, maintaining and harvesting vegetables. A wide array of crops and annual flowers are grown. Produce is sold at our on-location veggie stand, through our Community Supported Agriculture program, to restaurants and at downtown farmers’ markets. This is local farming at its best. Flexible scheduling is available. Small groups of volunteers (five to eight) are welcome as well as individuals. No prior experience is needed.
Qualifications: Must be at least 15 years old.

Farm Ambassadors
Location: Lincoln, MA
Are you interested in natural history and willing to share that information with our visitors? We are looking for volunteers for our Farm Ambassador program. We will educate you on a number of nature topics – farm living, bird nests, feathers, pelts, ponding and more. You in turn educate the public, provide a hands-on experience with our program kits, and foster a connection to the natural world.
Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old.

Farm Stand Specialist
Location: Lincoln, MA
This volunteer position will be stationed at our refurbished farm stand. You will be responsible for sharing with the public information on the items we grow and sell. Topics will include sustainable farming practices, the seasonality of our produce, providing taste tests for the public, and information on our value added products. We will provide training. This docent-styled program runs from June through October with flexible scheduling.
Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old.

Gardening Volunteer
Location: Lincoln, MA
Drumlin Farm is looking for volunteers to help with gardening tasks. We have a variety of plantings from a butterfly garden and native plant garden to vegetable beds. If you enjoy outdoor tasks this might be the position for you. Volunteers are needed to weed, deadhead, mulch and prune. Basic gardening skills are a plus but we can teach you as well. Hours are flexible.
